This book is based on a series of lectures given 25 years previously by the author. In the intervening period, he has studied other parts of the Bible including the Book of Job and Proverbs, which he asserts have given him a deeper understanding of the structure of Hebrew writing. This is a revised book based on his newfound knowledge and gives a much improved and extended commentary on the Book of Ecclesiastes.
